I believe your question needs to be narrowed to particular subject. Criteria for surgery? Qualifications of surgeons? Centers of Excellence?, The ASBS is the representative organization for bariatric surgeons in the US. They do set guidelines for bariatric surgery in general but this covers many different areas. I think you may be asking about the National Institutes of Health Concensus guidelines about surgical treatment for morbid obesity. I would be happy to discuss it further.
