Sometimes if you eat foods that have fat content after gall bladder
removal, it takes your body a while to adjust to digesting food without the
gall bladder. I had diarrhea for about a month after removal of my gall
bladder. It does get better. Get a good stock of Immodium AD and avoid
the foods with a significant fat content for a while. You'll be fine.

I had my gall bladder out a month and a half ago and I am still battling
diarrhea no matter what I eat. I have tried Immodium and it helps but I
would have to take it every day twice a day to make the diarrhea stop. I
talk to the surgeon about it and he says it is normal and that if it
becomes a problem then he could prescribe something for e. Well, I say it
has become a problem now so I am going to see him again. Good luck on
getting back to normal. I have read posts where some people are normal a
month after surgery and some still aren't normal after 2 years.

I had mine removed over two years ago and am still having problems with
diarhhea, I am hoping it will improve after my WLS.
