Question:
why am i retaing food.

Can you please elaborate a little more? It is normal for us post-op to not "go" everyday. Normal for me is about every 3-4 days. If it's longer than that my Dr recommends taking Senecot, a mild laxative with stool softener. How far post op are you? :-)
