Question:
WHAT LAB WORK DO WE NEED? VITALADY HELP?
Hello, my doc is not familiar with my surgery so this is a learning experience for us both. I'm 18 months out and had my labs checked once and he said everything looked good, but how do I know if he checked for everything that should have been checked. Does anyone have a list I could give to him so I know all my bases are being covered. I asked for Vitalady because I think she knows this info.? My hair has started falling out at 18 months post op and I don't know if it's my Wellbutrin or a vitamin deficiency. Daily I take 2 adult multi vitamins, 1500 mg of calcium cirate, 1000mcg of B12, 2- B complexes, 1- Wellbutrin and 1- birth control pill. I double up on the B complex and the multi because we lack absorption, so I thought it would make sure I'm getting the full dose. Any thoughts, thank you!!!! Kelly* — Kelly* P. kelly, Vitalady does have this info. She sent it to me but I don't know
how to copy and paste. Contact her directly at www.vitalady.com I am sure
she will be happy to sent it to you.

I go back for my one month postop on the 6th of July.
My doctor has ordered iron, T4/TSH, CBC w/Diff, Lipid Panel, Hemoglobin Alc
(Diabetics), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel to include: glucose, calcium,
bun, uric acid, total protein, albumin, total calcium, bilirubin, direct
bilirubin, triglycerides, SGOT, SGPT, GGTP, Alkaline Phosphate, sodium,
potassium, chloride, cholesterol and phosporus.
Although this seems like a lot to me, he's been doing bariatric surgery for
30 years, so he should know what he's doing. He also does an 18-month
postop followup to ensure your system levels out okay.
