I am going to be completly honest here with you. First congrats on your
wls and weight loss. You might want to stay away from the breads and
cookies though. Bad carbs will hinder your weightloss. Stick to things
that are totally protein as much as you can. Find out the size your
surgeon made your pouch and measure your food according to that not weight
wize but portion wise. Your pouch will stretch a little bit on it's own as
time goes by though. If you measure your foods you will make sure you are
not over eating. It also depends on what your eating on how much you feel
you can hold. Softer foods like yogurt you will feel you can hold more
because with every extra bite you take it pushes the foods out of your
pouch. This is overeating. Don't rely on getting the "full"
feeling many of us don't get it post op. I know i didn't. Try measuring
your foods. When you feel your hungry and you have already eaten wait the
30 minutes after eating and then drink some fluids. If your drinking while
your eating it will cause you to be able to eat more than you need to also.
It pushes the foods out of the pouch. i hope it helps some.

At the stage you are I would be doing 95% protein and staying away from
carbs as much as possible. This will force your body into max ketosis and
should get the weight loss moving quicker. Since you never had any
malabsorption before with the VBG you should have the same experience as a
first time RNY. It sounds like the doc left you with quite a large pouch
as I can eat quite a bit these days at 16 months PO but not as much as you
indicate. I had a 1/2 ounce pouch initially but I'm sure it is quite a bit
larger now. I also am a 150cm bypass, which helps also. It appears you
will need to really buckle down on the quantity and choices in order to get
the weight off. It would be a shame if he left you with a rather large
pouch and only a 100cm bypass, especially having it be a revision. Also
start exercising if you are not. Remember no drinking for like 30 minutes
before, during and after meals. Read the pouch rules and memorize them. I
know at 2 months PO on a good day I could eat 3 oz of solid protein. Good
Luck!

I am also a VBG to RNY revision. The thing to remember is that we already
had a pouch from the VBG, so we will not notice a drastic reduction in the
amount of food we can eat like someone going from a normal size stomach to
a pouch for the first time. I was concerned about this as well, and that
was what my surgeon told me. I did lose the weight I gained back, but it
was much slower than with my original VBG. I lost 90 pounds in a year. Good
Luck.
