Question:
Can I do South Beach Diet at 1 year to help shed last 70lbs
Would I have to do the induction phase for this diet-I think I may be on a dreaded plateau?? Anyone use South Beach to help them get to goal or Atkins even??? — TotallyTori (posted on March 11, 2004)

I love South Beach and use it to control re-gain at 3 years out. My PCP
put my Mom on it and her sugar is normal for the first time in forever.
IMO, it's a great, healthy diet for post-ops.

I had a 20-pound regain due to lazy eating habits after year 2. I spent 18
months trying to get it off. Nope. Then my whole family decided this past
fall to do South Beach together. Bang - that 20 pounds was gone in six
weeks. It was great; still is. My family have all lost weight and are doing
very well too, including my teenage son. hugs, Ann RNY 9/10/99 260/124

The South Beach Diet is great for post-ops- healthier than Atkins and
easier too. My husband's physician recommends it highly.
