Tummy tucks are hard to get paid by insurance. Some will pay the cost of a
panniculectomy because of rashes etc.Breast reduction is covered if a
certain amount of tissue is removed. You need to document rashes, pressure
areas in shoulders, neck and back pain etc.Arms and thighs are rarely
paid. There are medical loan companies that will finance plastic surgery.
Most plastic surgeons will have the contact information.

For breast reductions it depends on the amount of fat your having removed
from each breast. Typically, anywhere from 300 to 500 grams of fat removed
from each breast would qualify you to have the insurance cover the surgery.
I was a lightweight too and my insurance company paid for my
abdominoplasty. It depends on how much skin they have to remove. Stand
sideways and pull your stomach out as far as you can and this will show the
insurance company how much you need to have removed. If it's quite a bit,
thet will pay for it. Typically, if it hangs over the pubic bone they will
cover it. As far as arms and thighs, since you were a lightweight, you
probably don't have a huge amount of skin to be removed so chances of
insurance covering it are slim to none with more emphasis on the none. I
tried to get the insurance to cover my arms with documented rashes. They
denied it. So I paid for it myself. I also tried to get them to pay for
my inner thighs with documented yeast infections. They denied it as well
so I'm paying for that myself and having it done in May.
