I have a hiatal hernia and I am going to have a Lap RNY, I know others who
have had Lap with a HH and no problem.

Yes, I understand that a HH can be repaired Lap.
I had one and it was to be repaired in Lap surgery. (Due to comps, my
surgery was open, nothing to do with the HH though. )
Take care and good luck!

Hi---- I was diagnosed as having a sliding HH, and I successfully had my
lap rny on November 19th. My surgeon
and I never even discussed an open rny based on my HH. So unless yours is
severe, I think you'll be fine. Best wishes!!!
