Question:
ANY POST WLS FRIENDLY PRIMARY CARE DRS IN CORAL SPRINGS FL?

If anyone knows of a primary care dr in coral springs florida please let me know. I am two years post op and need a Primary care Dr. I have Blue Cross Blue Care. I had one I went to who was very rude about me having WLS. His first two questions to me was "why would you mame your body"?... and his second question to me was "how many complications did you have"? Pleasant,,, I was happy to share with him I am fine! My PCP is Dr Perwien. I am scheduled for surgery on 1/13/04 and he has been very supportive. His office is on Royal Palm and Riverside Drive and I also have blue cross/blue shield. Good luck.

My PCP is Dr.Douglas Weissman His office is in the Central Medical Plaza behind Coral Springs Hospital on 33rd st. 9750 NW 33rd St Coral Springs Florida 33065. suite 206 (954) 755-3374 He has been my primary for the last three years and when I asked him about the surgery he was more than supportive. I have been post op since June 30, 03. Merry Christmas!

I forgot to say in my last note that I do have Blue Cross Blue Shield HO. I would think that Blue care is OK with them.
