Question:
pain in left side

i am 10 months post-op and have suddenly developed a pain in my left side just below my waist, i do not feel any lumps bit it has stopped me from exercising..    — diane F. (posted on October 26, 2003)

<b>Could it be a muscle pull from exercising? it could be associated with your body changing. who knows? If it continues get to the doctors to have it checked out.</b>

At 10 months post-op, I wouldn't assume that your pain is in any way related to your WLS. Make an appt. with a primary care doc and have it checked out. Appendicitis, maybe?

I had a pain on my left side that ended up being a hernia. I did not and still do not feel any lumps. It hurts to exercise, but I still go to curves and avoid the abdominal machines. I would go see your doctor.

Might also be a kidney stone, as I am learning about this week! Do see your PCP.
