Question:
Does anyone else have problems w/their posts?

When I post something, it does not show up , and I am wondering if anyone else can see it/ If you can please e-mail me at: [email protected]. Thanks/ Patti Meadows — peppermintp (posted on June 20, 2003)

AMOS MOD HERE. I looked back at all the witheld posts and dont see any of yours in Q&A. One of the mods had a post of theirs disappear the other day. Bugs do occur:( Q&A rewriting has been a bit flakey lately. Sometimes the latest posts dont show up. I reported this again. We mods are supposed to ALWAYS notify posters of withelds. But we are unpaid volunteers and sometimes miss one here and there. Plus sometimes posters e mail address arent up to date and their mail bounces or they have a private profile and we have no way to contact them. If its Q&A its moist likely a bug. VERY few are witheld. Was it a new quewstion or answer that disappeared?

As one of the previous posters mentioned, if you post is not appropriate, one of the moderators, maybe even Bob Haller, will let you know, personally. Other than that, there could be only one other problem...a case of the gremlins!! They chew the words up right after you've posted!(probably website technical problems). It's happened to me on a couple of occasions; it's not always personal though, Patti. If it was the manner in which you posted, you'd be notified, trust me! :-) I'm sure that once Bob or some of the other members lets someone know, the problem will be corrected. Send them an email describing the problem you're having if it involves posting. Hope this helps!

I wanted to pipe-up, here, with a big thank you to the Q/A moderators. I believe they do a terrific job.

In fact last weekend, some sweet person even added a question line to my post when I had forgotten to do it myself. They could have just as easily scrapped my question. Thanks, again, guys!!!! Lori RNY-P 06/20/02 314/182
