Question:
Has anyone experienced stomach cramping each time you eat or drink?

I am almost 14 weeks post-op. Starting last night my stomach started cramping each time I eat or drink. I have even tried to go back to the liquids for today because I thought for sure that it would help... wrong!! Has anyone experienced this? I get cramps when I eat anything with sugar. Perhaps what you've eaten or drank had some sugar?

Call your surgeon. That said, I had cramps for a while and I found that coled was causing it. If I had warm tea first it was ok. Only lasted a few weeks.

Hi, I am now 16 weeks post-op and have had the same problem and the doc took some x-rays and said it was just gas build up when your eating cuz at this stage you can handle alittle more to eat and solids can cause that so try some gas-x to relieve it. Hope it helps, good luck!

I had this problem too - it was gas. I had excruciating pain whenever I would eat or drink. I had it for several days - I then took a Nexium, and pain went away within two hours.
