Question:
if you were on his cancellation list...how soon did you have surgery?

I am scheduled to have surgery in august. but I have been placed on his cancellation list my question is ...how quickly did your surgery date move up. how much notice did you get? i just need to know what to expect.    — monica R. (posted on May 12, 2003)

this is a hard question to answer. I know my surgeon kept me on his too and my original date was dec 4th and it got bumped up to november 15th....they called me that monday and asked me to come in that friday....another lady in my support group is schduled 5 months from now and she got called wednesday and got asked to come in on friday (that just passed)...like i said it varies...best of luck to you....-95 lbs 11/15/02

I was also on my surgeon's list. I recieved a call on 7/3 that they had an opening on 7/5. I spent the day of 7/4 traveling to my surgeon. If you have kids-plan for child care ahead of time. I also would go shopping for the groceries that you will need as a post op and also do any heavy cleaning or other projects that need to get done so that you won't have to worry about them. hi i was calley for the week of july 4 last year put on there list was called in amatter of a week for june 20 than called in another week for april 30 than they had to change it to may 3 had a lot of notice so hang in there and good luck
