Question:
Recommendations for Montgomery AL OB-GYN

I am going to start trying to get pregnant soon and would like to have an OB-GYN in the Montgomery AL area who has dealt w/ a RYN patient and the associated risks. Does anyone have a recommendation?    — Daphne S. (posted on April 22, 2003)

Hi! I was able to finally get pregnant after many years of trying pre WLS and I totally give credit to my WONDERFUL Ob/Gyn Dr. Keith Green. I am a patient of his, plus I know that he has other patients that have had WLS. However, I don't know if he has one who has been pregnant. He does stay updated on all the new methods. Of course after my two years have passed I intend to have another child and he will be my doctor. Good luck!

I would like to suggest, Dr. Winston Ashurst. He is with Physicians for Women at Baptist South and has an office at Baptist East. He has got great bed side manner and he also is treating a fried of mine who had WLS back in December of 2001 and she is expecting in August of 2003. But, really he is truly wonderful. You'll just love him.
