Hello there.. I have not had my surgery done yet. But my sister did and so
has other people that I know! Have you been putting Vitamin E oil on them?
That is what I have been told to do! I have heard this over and over again!
So if you haven't done that yet, you should go to a health food store or
vitamin shop and get some vitamin E oil to put on your scars! I hope this
helps! :)

My scars were dark brown originally. I tried showing someone the other day
and they were almost totally gone. Just faded away like the fat. Never put
anything on them. Being a guy I dont care.

I think the color of your scars depends on your complexion. I am a natural
redhead and after 3 months my scars are a purple-pink color. Scars I have
from previous abdominal surgeries years ago faded from that purple-pink
color to white within a year or so. Yours will fade to your natural skin
color soon, try not to worry about it.<br>

Hi, I'm 10 1/2 mos out, blonde, not quite fair complected but certainly
could use a tan..lol..and my lap scars all turned brown, mine are all real
wide too, like 1/4 inch. I had an allergic reaction to the staples (which I
was told NOBODY has a reaction to the staples) so every hole where the
staple went in looks pretty ugly too, I have little train tracks all over
my tummy. I'm going in for a TT and although I will luckly lose some of
these, the three incisions up high, under my breasts will now be at
mid-drift level. My plastic surgeon said he could redo them If I wanted. I
might ;~) Give yourself some time to heal! And do the Vit. E oil, I didn't,
but always wished I had!
