Question:
How long after Open RNY before resuming water areobics?

Everyone heals differently, so to give you a time frame wouldn't work. As with any surgery, you need to wait until teh insicions are COMPLETELY healed over. You don't want to end up with an infection. Good luck with everything

I was told to wait at least 2 weeks. I started then, and had no problems. Good luck!

My doc said to way 4-6 wks for complete healing of the incison. It was odd though, it felt like my insides were floating up when I was in the water. Perhaps not everyone has this, but I did and letting you know in case you do too.
