My surgeon, Dr. Fobi has done many surgeries on people with higher BMIs.
He's located in Hawaiian Gardens (located between Long Beach and Cerritos).
Email me if you have questions.

Hi Laurie, I had my surgery in LA at Daniel Freeman Hospital, they have a
new Weight Loss Program going on there and the Dr is great. I also had the
same insurance as you and had no problem. Check out my profile if you need
to find out any info on who the Dr is or e-mail me I would be glad to help.

Hi..I just came home from L.A. 2 wks ago. I have researched for MANY years
to find the right Dr. I had my surgery done by Dr. Fobi"s partner..Dr.
Hoil Lee He was really great and I am very happy HE was the one to do my
surgery. Dr. Fobi is phenominal tho he sometimes lacks patience with
people. But as a surgeon he really knows his stuff and is the founder of
the Fobi pouch. But I just have to say that Dr. Lee was the one who took
his time and explained everything in detail to me and made me feel like I
was important. Their off staff is extremely busy and youMUST be persistant
but they do get things done!! I would highly recommend them! My BMI was
81.5 when I went in. If you have any other questions please e-mail me K?
Good luck to you...Sincerely, Hally Sue
