Question:
Can you purchase Real Meals in stores or must you buy on-line?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. — Rebecca L. (posted on April 2, 2003)

have you tried real meals? personally i find them really vile and i would
not buy them unless i tried them first. they have great numbers, calories,
protien, carbs, but so do many other types of powders and might even taste
better. good luck to you

I did not know that you could buy them at stores! Thanks for that info. I
have been drinking Real Meals since I was a week post-op and the further
out I am the more I like them. I make fruit smoothies now that are soooo
good! I think that most people who dislike them so much probably tried them
very early post-op. I had a hard time with them at first but it was the
flavor I chose not the brand. I think that people also have individual
tastes but I have tried many and this one is good and the nutritional
numbers are awesome so I would probably drink them either way.

I like the chocolate over ice! I buy them online. They sell a sample pack
for $5. I found the website from a link on this one.

I've never seen them at GNC. My suggestion would be to go to the website
and ask them if it's available anyplace other than online.
I am preop (4/16) and have chosen to begin with products from GNC. This is
only because it's convenient and you can return anything you don't like. My
plan is to eventually try Real Meals and switch if I like them.
Take care.

Rebecca, yes you can buy them at stores, but, it varies. They have them at
a ton of chinese stores and bodegas in NYC around the wall street area.
Maybe in your hometown too. Good luck!

Hi.Try putting in a search for the Vitamin Shoppe and see if there is 1 in
your area and buy them cheaper there than online
