Is there anyone out there that has this insurance?

My husband has Regence BCBS of Oregon. I started my quest for WLS back in 2001 when that's the only insurance I had, and sadly found out that there is an exclusion in his policy regarding ANY help or treatment for weight loss. I was devestated, of course, and pretty much gave up hope. To my knowledge, now BCBS of Oregon is letting some of their own employees have the surgery and following them through to see the results. Fortunately I have new insurance who does have coverage and I am scheduled for Lap RYN on April 8th of 2003. I wish all of you who have this type of insurance (and any other types of insurance) who have exclusions luck. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
