Question:
bloating problem one year post-op

Hey yall! I am having a problem, and wondering if some one has had the same. I am one year post-op. Thursday night, after eating just a little bit of chicken strips and fries, my abdomen began to swell, bloated,and was painful. It was so scary to me that I called my surgeon, he said it could be a gallbladder attack, to take some gas-ex's. The gas-ex made me feel better, but I am still bloated some today. Hi! I seem to have bloating and gas after consuming too many carbs for the day...the gas is awful and often uncontrollable, especially that night..I am two years postop and down 102# but my poor hubby really suffers when I have this gas and even has had to move out of the bedroom for the night...this makes staying away from refined carbs my goal, Carolyn
