Question:
Does anyone know approx. cost to get a neck lift?

I have lost 106 lbs and I am at goal. I am very pleased w/everything except my turkey gobble under my neck. I do not wish to have a full facelift, just the skin under my chin. my friend who had wls checked into it in riverside california and was told it would cost aprox $2000.00 would be as an outpatient, they would cut around the ear in front and behind it pull up the skin, trim off the excess and sew it back, said the scars barely showed beciuase of the ear fold. siad their might be a higher cost if for some reason there were complications. healing time about 6 weeks, and they owuld glue the incisions insteadof suteres in the front, less and lighter scar. at least thisiswhat she relayed to me, he aslo said to wait until she was at goal, she is not quite there yet. good luck!

I was under the impression that turkey chin could be removed by liposuction. You might also try calling a few plastic surgeons in your phone book and asking the question. I've been successful with picking people out of the phone book and calling for free info in lots of matters. They're usually more than affable about answering because they hope to get a patient out of it.

Liposuction under the neck won't do anything to the hanging skin....in fact, taking out any existing fat in the neck would make the skin hang even more. Believe it or not, a neck lift is a VERY extensive procedure....you have incisions near the eyes/hairline, ears and under the ears. A friend of mine went for a consultation for this at a prominent plastic surgeon in Ann Arbor, Michigan, only to be quite discouraged to find that this is definitely cosmetic.....and at a mere $10,000!

I just had a neck lift on 4 December, and I love it! Can't even believe how much it changed my look. In fact, folks here at work are saying that I look like I've lost more weight. Anyway, the cost of the outpatient clinic plus plastic surgeon services cost $5,800. I had my done by Dr. Susan Vasko in Columbus, Ohio. Because she is so terrific, I am now considering a TT in July.
