Question:
What to mix with Jarrow's Iso-Rich Soy Protein?
I recently ordered Jarrow's Iso-Rich Soy Protein and so far I have tried mixing it with oatmeal, milk, and this morning I tried it mixed with coffee. The oatmeal and milk were simply disqusting!! I was under the impression that this was a tasteless powder. You can definetly taste it! The coffee with sf nesquick and the powder was tolerable, but not great. Does anyone who uses this supplement have suggestions on what to mix it with. What it tastes good with? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!! — nchaudoin (posted on December 10, 2002)

hiya! i use jarrows iso rich religiously...in the morning i mix 1 tbls with
1/2 scoop of EAS Advantage chocolate whey powder into about 8 oz coffee
with some heavy whipping cream (the kind with no sugar) and stir...you have
to keep stirring or else it will settle to the bottom. personally, i cannot
"taste" it but it took about a week to get used to the
consistency of it. i mix it into soups, cottage cheese -- almost
everything. i have a lot of recipes on my website (in the files section)
that have jarrows added to them...http://www.geocities.com/katebme2002
i hope that helps some.
good luck!

I mix it with soup, stews, casseroles, anything I put in my crock-pot,
mashed potatoes, gravy (use it as the thickner in place of corn starch),
milk in cereal and muffin/pancake mixes (add more liquid). I don't like it
in plain liquids like hot chocolate or tea. Good luck!
