Question:
Re-sizing my bowling ball

Are there any po-op bowlers out there? Did you need to re-size the holes on your bowling ball after your weight loss? Just curious. Thanks much! : )    — Patricia G. (posted on December 5, 2002)

I'm not a bowler but do know that I had to have my wedding band sized from an 11.5 to a 7.5!!! I'm sure it's got to make a bit difference in the size of bowling ball holes you need.

I have been bowler for the past twenty years. I took this year off to pursue, have, and recuperate from my WLS on 10/2/02. After moving my bowling ball out of the other day, I was curious as you are now, and discovered that YES I will have to have mine resized. And may possibly have to go to a lighter weight ball as well.

I had to smile in recognition when I saw this question. Not only does my bowling bowl fall off my fingers now, I throw it differently too. Guess I was swinging that ball around this big old booty and now there's nothing to swing around!

I'm not a bowler so I can't help you there, but my wedding ring had to come down several sizes after it fell off into our ice maker and my wife found it in her glass of iced tea!
