Question:
Does BTC staple or transsect (sp?)?
I am almost three months post op and I am not sure if I am transsected or stapled. My doctor was Dr.Boe, with BTC in Belivdere, Illinois. Does any of his patients know what his procedure is? If not Dr. Boe, did you have another surgeon from BTC and what did they do. I am assuming they all do the same. Any help is appreciated. And no, I can't go see him to find out because I lost my insurance. I have considered calling and finding out but I don't know if they will tell you that over the phone and I don't want to look dumb. Oh, definately call and ask and don't feel bad about it. They should tell
you and it shouldn't matter about insurance coverage now - because you
don't actually need to see them. If they won't tell you over the phone,
ask them to send you a copy of your surgical report or just a letter with
the answer. Definate you will look smart for asking! Don't worry!

I would call BTC. I don't think your insurance should be an issue. It's
my understanding post op follow ups are included in the original surgery
charges.
