Ulcerated esphogus???

I had an ulcerated esophagus before surgery due to GERD. Meds barely helped and they could not do the nissan funtalacation as my weight kept going up and down. So, they did the bariatric RNY surgery (laproscopic) and at first the acid was still a problem but they had me take two 30mg prevacid a day. I rarely have acid reflux now and the ulcer has healed. If you have acid reflux, talk to your doctor. Are you throwing up a lot? Maybe an anti-acid like the one they put me on will help you too? Good luck
