Scoliosis is pretty much what got my approval to go thru as it was very
well documented - my doctor wrote a note to them that the apron (tummy fat)
was pulling on my Lordotic curve and making the condition considerably
worse.

I have degenative disk disease and spinal stenosis. Those co-mids. got my
ins. co. to approve the surgery and I had it all in 4 months. I had my
surgery on 5/14/02 and I have lost 140 lbs so far with hopes of losing
about 60 more. Good Luck!

Yes, if it's well documented. Pretty much everyone has a mild scoliosis,
but very mild. That's normal. So make sure that you stress the stenosis,
that can be very painful. I have these as well as spina bifida occulta and
degenerative joint disease in some discs and facet joints. My insurance
company is known for denying coverage, and I am a light weight, but I was
approved in 4 days, no problems. Good luck.
