Question:
BC/BS of AL (State Employees) - Do they pay for followup visits after the surgery?

I have BC/BS of AL for State Employees. I had surgery on 3/5/02 and have had several office visits and only had to pay the $20 copay. But the last followup visit I had, 5 month visit, the insurance didn't pay for ($70). I have talked to other people w/ BC/BS and they say their followup visits and then yearly visits are covered by insurance. Can anyone tell me what diagnosis code they use to get these visits paid for by insurance? Thanks.    — Daphne S. (posted on October 11, 2002)
