Question:
Is it ok to drink with your vitamins?
I know it is a major no-no to drink with meals, but what about our supplements? Are we washing them through too quickly? I just don't have enough hours in the day to get my water in if I need to time out on water so my vitamin supplements(mostly chewables)will be effective! — Vicki M F. (posted on October 8, 2002)

Hello....I drink water with my supplements. Keep in mind that the
supplements are not digested in your pouch but in your intestines so you
don't need to worry about them remaining in your stomach for an extended
period of time. You shouldn't take your calcium supplements with other
supplements as they will bind to them and will prohibit their absorption.
Hope this helps!!! Feel free to email me if you have questions. Hugs,

hiya! i drink with my vitamins/iron. i actually dissolve my calcium in a
little bit of juice because i don't like trying to swallow them - they are
horsepills! lol...you should drink juice with your iron - it helps it
absorb. but make sure you take your iron and calcium at least 2 hours apart
- the calcium binds to the iron making it not be absorbed.
good luck!
