Does anyone know of a support group in Dallas, TX

There are probably many because there are many places that do this surgery. The one I specifically know about is at Baylor Hospital and it's called Baylor Buddies. It meets the second Thursday of every month from 6pm to 8pm in the Folsum Room on the 17th Floor of the Roberts Building (Baylor on Gaston). I have not been yet. I was just approved yesterday and I'm waiting for a consult. I plan to attend the next meeting, though.

I would be glad to talk with you more about this. I live near Gainesville, TX and have a support group that I go to in Wichita Falls and one in Flower Mound. You can email me personally if you would like to know more. Generically, I would advise you to call Dr. Lawrence Barzune's office. He does a lot of WLS in Dallas and should have a good bit of info.
