Did anyone tape The View on 7/17, Dr. Capella was on...

If anyone out there recorded The View from 7/17 where they intereviewed Dr. Capella, could I ask you to make me a copy? I had surgery with Dr. Capella and would like to have a copy of his interview discussing WLS.    — Michell C. (posted on July 19, 2002)

I saw the show, but didn't tape it. Actually, they called him a bariatric surgeon, but it was Capella's son, the plastic surgeon, that was on the show. They showed a woman who works for the show who's lost 220 pounds with gastic bypass, and she said she was feeling wonderful, but what ticked me off was at the end of the segment, Joy Bahar said this woman was just "lucky", implying because she wasn't sick or worse. He briefly explained lap band, VBG and gastric bypass, but never mentioned BPD/DS, but probably because of time constraints. I thought the segment was ok until Joy's comment.

All he did was bash the lap band and didn't mention any positives about it. It was obvious he doesn't do the lap band and doesn't even know much about it.
