Question:
Anyone have PICS of INCISION that used GLUE???

My DR. uses internal stitches and then incion glue. I would like to see any after pictures of this. I've heard the incision looks best when used with glue. — Sunny4x4chick (posted on July 5, 2002)

At 7 weeks my incisions look great... I was so surprised that they healed so quickly. I have had surgical stitches (Thread AND Staple) ; The glue heals much, much neater, and faster!

I have to get the pics in for developing, but after almost 4 weeks out, the scar is a little pink in the incision area, but it is going to heal nicely I think, and the Dr says it will not be very noticeable. Good luck!

I am a little over 2 weeks post op and mine to was internaly stitched with sutures then the outermost layer glued with Dermabond (surgical glue) then Geri strips placed over the glue for extra support. My scar is actually very thin in width and no openings have occured. The only thing that is a nusence is that the glue will become sticky and guncky like that is hard to get off so you leave it until it rolls off. I think with staples, stitches, or glue you will get the not so perfect texture to skin if a thick stretch mark is cut through, that is the only complaint I have with mine, where a mark was cut through it is wrinkley feeling. Wearing the binder is a must in protecting your incision line either way! I to must get mine developed.

I am 8 days out and had the dermabond "superglue". My wound is healing amazingly fast. I have had no problems, no redness. The glue is amazing and it seems as if the scar will be minimal.
