Question:
Anyone have a wedding dress they do not want anymore?

I am excited to say I am going to be getting married in Oct. I had Lap RNY Last Feb and losing rather quickly. If anyone has a size 14 wedding dress they dont need anymore, Please let me know. I am working with a very limited budget to get married (because I am paying back for this surgery...I was a cash pay). Thanks in advance!!!! I cant wait to hear from you. I don't have a wedding dress (mine was a size 20!), but I have a great idea---look at the dresses on Ebay. Just the other day I bought a gown without a train that I will wear when hubby and I renew our vows this summer. It is a beautiful Alfred Angelo that's never been worn (sz 12!) and I got it for $30! Just remember that wedding dresses run small, so you should look for a size 16/18--you can always have it taken in. Good luck!

I just want to add to Susan's post....I bought my wedding dress, brand new off of ebay two years ago (size 24) and only paid 100.00 for it...and my "rich" sister asked me if it was a Vera Wang....loved it!! Karan

I'm in the same situation. I'm getting married in November, and there's just no way I can know what size I'll wear then. Here's what I plan to do. There's a store called David's Bridal. I checked, there are 3 in Florida. They sell dressess off the rack. Twice a year, they have their $99 sale. The next one will be end of September beginning of October. You could take advantage of that and get your dress at the last minute. That's my plan too.

Hi, another option you may want to look into is a thrift or consignment clothing store somewhere near you. I sold my wedding dress at a consignment store a few years back. They had TONS of them there, great prices, and most of them have been cleaned and properly stored before being put up for consignment. Good Luck! - Anna

Sorry, no 14's, but I have a GORGEOUS designed wedding gown in a 28. I also have extra fabric.
