Question:
I have arthitus in both my feet, before I had surgery I had constant swelling in my
feet, I am now down 118 pounds, and my feet have started to swell severly again. I have taken medication for water retention by my doctor, but it does not seem to be helping. Does anyone have any ideas on this? I am 11 mos post op. — Valerie M. (posted on June 5, 2002)

If it is rheumatoid arthritis, there is a new IV drug that works wonders
for arthritis. It is Remicade. You have apx 8 treatments in 1 year. You
might want to talk to your rheumatologist about this drug and if it would
