Question:
Does anyone else have this pain?

I am having a pain all along my incision line. It hurts more above the navel. I had open rny 4 1/2 months ago. I have lost 100 pds. and am very grateful for that. I have so much more energy and doing more, but I don't think that I am doing something to hurt myself. Maybe I am. If I put my cold hand on the incision and press it helps. It may be a hernia. Have your doc. take a look.

Likely a hernia, 30% of opens get incisional hernias requiring a second surgery for hernia repair. Dont panic, it can be fixed.

I would have to agree with the other posters that it could be an incisional hernia. Go to your surgeon to have him check it out.
