Question:
this is kinda graphic, but..........

I have been having some problems the last two weeks and would like some input. I hadn't had any problems until early last week when I drank some isopure, about two drinks, and next thing I know I am in the bathroom trying to die! I broke out into a sweat so bad, I almost slide of the toilet. I was having difficulty in breathing to the point where I thought I would have an asthma attack. I was dizzy, nauseated and while dealing with severe cramping in my pouch/intestines, I was vomiting mucous and having a watery bowel movement. This lasted about and hour, I thought I had dumped for the first time. Well, since then I have vomited almost daily, with the exception of a few days, but I still have watery bowels and try not to wander too far from a bathroom. I am not vomiting up food, mostly dry heaving and foamy mucous. I talked to an advice nurse today, but she hasn't gotten back to me. She thinks this could be a stricture, but everything I have read on strictures never mentioned loose bowels, just food not getting thru the stoma so you vomit. Can I get any input on what it could be? anyone else have these symptoms? The nurse says I'll need surgery to correct it if it is a stricture. What's that all about? You MIGHT have a stricture OR partially obsrtructed bowell.I WOULD DEMAND immediate attention so you dont get dehydrated. Be pushy, they should of seen you by now. For the moment go to clear liquids, its always a safe haven. It possible you have a intestional bug. EVERYONE gets them but after we have surgery we always assume the problem is surgery related. This happened to me, and it was caused by a bug, another person threw up during a dinner and quite a few of us ended up ill a few days later, this in my profile. So dont panic. If its a stricture dialiation will fix you up fast. Bowell obstruction may require surgery, sometimes they go away on their own, so dont panic but see your surgeon ASAP!
