i know one of the suggestions that helped me a lot was to buy 3oz. cups
from the grocery. you know, the bathroom cups? this was very beneficial
with my water intake at first (when the water intake was really small). it
also helped me with my pureed soups and foods. it prevented me from
washing many dishes and especially using dishes that were much bigger than
the amount of food i could eat. otherwise, the popsicles, jello, soups,
broth & saltine crackers help. sugar free yogurt & mashed potatoes
were on my list also. one more thing, don't buy plenty. you will not be
able to eat as much and if you have someone at the home that can shop for
you - then your halfway there! good luck...

Hi Vicki! Brenda Singer has some wonderful helps on her profile page
including lists of what to take to hospital, what to buy for home, and many
other helpful tips. Go to peers, put in Singer and find her profile. She
is in Ohio. Good luck to you! I too am pre-op and am enjoying getting
ready for the trip of my lifetime.

Instead of juice, you may want to buy some Gatorade. It has half the
calories and sugar of regular juice and it dilutes well in water (doesn't
taste much different when diluted). Good luck!
