Question:
What supplements can you take before your hair loss

Some people start their protein supps ahead & start Hair, Skin, Nails
weeks ahead, too. Hair loss happens, but it's nice to have a new growth
coming along behind it.

Hi Kim... I am pre-op and have begun using Nioxin Products. You can find
them at better salons, Walmart hair salons, etc. They come in a set of 3
products. There is a shampoo, conditioner and a scalp treatment. Follow
directions. Does great things for your hair and puts it in excellent
shape. Also look at the hair, skin and nails or simply a supplement of
biotin (GNC) No guarantees of no hair loss on anything but even
hairdressers attest it really slows or retards the loss. Good luck to you.

Try Nature's Bounty "Vitamins for the Hair." I didn't try it
until I'd lost a bit of hair, but it certainly stopped the loss in it's
tracks. I think it's the biotin that does that.

I'm taking biotin and zinc. My best buddy is a hairdresser and swears it's
the best thing she knows of. I looked at GNC's Hair & Nails vitamins
but they were HUGE horsepills - I didn't think I could handle them when I
was newly post-op.

The 'Hair, Skin, and Nails' formula by Futurbiotics stopped my hair loss in
it's tracks. I got it at my local health food store, it may be hard to
find, but definately worth the look :)

i take GNC's NOURISHAIR, two tablets daily, use NIOXIN shampoo and
conditioner, and am mostly attentive to taking all rxs and vitamins. I
have experienced hair loss, but it has mostly stopped and seeming to be
coming back. Good Luck.

Zinc and Biotin are recommended. I have a hard time believing that any
topical, like shampoo can have an impact on the body's response to
anesthesia, drastic calorie reduction and possible proetien deficiency, in
my humble opinion. As an RN, I tend to go with a systemic remedy. I also
recommend massaging your scalp well when shampooing and at bed time. That
will stimulate circulation to the hair follicles and scalp. Good Luck.

I take noni juice that has helped me. Its an herbal medicine that you can
get at a health store. Best to get 100% noni juice. It also lowers
colestrol, highblood pressure and etc. If you want to read more on it go
to www.nonijuice4u2000.com
Thanks,
Loretta
