Question:
Looking for a PCP in Rochester, NY familiar with RNY who cares about their patients

I am so tired of having a PCP that doesn't know me from a hole in the wall and makes me feel like I don't matter. Just another fat chick who has no self control. I put in a call two weeks ago and he still hasn't bothered to get back to me. (This isn't the first time.) I KNOW my B12 is low but can't get anyone to give me my test results. I just called again and the secretary said she will ask him to please get back to me but she says that doesn't always help. I want a doctor that has a clue about RNY or is willing to learn. I want a doctor that thinks of me as human and doesn't look at me "that" way. Any good suggestions? Thanks so much.    — Lindsey G. (posted on January 17, 2002)
