Question:
Has any one had surgery performed by Dr. Udobi, in Kansas City Kansas

I have been waiting to see a Dr. and to see if he will perform the surgery for about a Year now, the surgeon,that I am waiting for, I understand is in charge of a burn center and I hate to be impatient, I have been waiting this long, but I have an opportunity to go to another Dr.and get in sooner so any ideas? I know it is my decision, but I was wondering if there is someone out there who had Dr. Udobi?    — Tina B. (posted on January 17, 2002)

I am seeing Dr Udobi on Tuesday 1/22 @ 9am. I have already had a phone consultation with him but now due to insurance regulations he has to meet the patients face to face before he can give the information packet. I am hoping that he will schedule surgery as soon as possible after our meeting. I know of a few people that have had the surgery from Dr Udobi and they all say he is very professional. I would invite you to come to the Kansas City WLS Support group next sunday the 27th, you can meet several patient, pre and post op for Dr Udobi.

James, we are stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, and I would love to go to his support group meeting, but my problem is that I was originally scheduled with Dr. Terry in Columbia, but the wait is a year to see him and I have been waiting patiently since last April, I went to the Insurance co. and they told me about Dr. Udobi, I did a packet for Dr. Terry which I will probably have to do again, and I went to two of his support group meetings. So I am just waiting for my phone call for Dr. Udobi, to see if things look better there in KC,KS.
