Question:
Just wanted to know how long for the insicion to heal?
Just wondering, if you had to go home with the g-tube, and two weeks later you had it removed how long will it take for the insicion to heal? This question may sound crazy but that is the only thing I am scared of. — Tina B. (posted on January 15, 2002)

My incisions all healed within 2 weeks...that meant for me that the
incision where my JP drain was, and was removed 10 days post op, it healed
about two weeks after that...so by about 4 weeks post op, I was all healed
up.
Hope this helps.

Although a little scabby, mine was pretty much healed up at two weeks also!
You'll have it bandaged and probably use a binder, so you don't really
notice it until they check it out at your two week check up!
