Can anyone recommend a good home work out tape?

I highly recommend Richard Simmons sweatin to the oldies. It is easier for
people our size especially if you are just beginning working out.

Richard Simmons sweating to the oldies gets my vote as the best to start
with. If you're more advanced, like my husand who doesn't find Richard's
tape challenging enough, Kathy smith fat burner is very good. any of the
steel tapes (buns of steel etc) are good but very challenging.
We probably have 30 exercise tapes and Richard and kathy are the only ones
we really do with any regularity. Good luck:)ps.. my son likes richard
simmon's disco sweat, but I can't deal with the 80s flashback lol!

Hi there! I looked into various videos too and the one I purchased and
really like is "Walk away the Pounds" with Leslie Sansone. I saw
it mentioned here one time and really looked into it. It was somewhat
expensive online and through the infomercial, but if you have a QVC outlet
nearby it's worth the effort. I paid about $20.00 for a four video set that
included ball shaped 2lb weights. These weights are optional for the
workout. I only use the 1 mile walking tape (pretty much marching in place
for 20 minutes with very easy low impact movements) It may not seem like
alot but doing that about 3X a week has taken me from a 2lb loss a week to
about a 4lb loss. I'm very pleased with the set and if I choose to up the
intensity the set includes a video for strength improvement and a 2 mile
and 3 mile walking in your home routine.

Hi all! Thank you VERY MUCH for all of the great suggestions. I will be off
in a few moments to begin the search for the one I think I'll like. They
all sound entertaining as well good for me! Good luck to everyone on their
own journey. :)

WALK AWAY THE POUNDS is a great video tape set. I got mine on
ebay....brand new, including shipping it was $33. About $20 cheaper than
the infomercial.

I vote for Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" tapes ... they
are awesome and make the exercise relatively painless. Happy walkin'! :-)

I like Tony Little's tapes. Each tape works different parts of the body.
My favorite is the abs and upper body.

This probably wouldn't work for everyone (although Kathryn Canges has some
great pre-op yoga pics!), but I saw a tape that interested me: Denise
Austin Yoga and Pilates mix. I find straight yoga doesn't hold my interest
but maybe adding some Pilates moves . . . I may try it. If I do, I'll let
you know how it is!

If you need to start of easy, or are disabled, Richard Simmons has a new
video called 'Sit Tight'. It is a good workout to do sitting in a chair or
wheelchair. It is high energy, and fun. It costs $14.95 + s/h.

Another vote for Walk Away the Pounds...I have them and love them! They are
easy to follow yet you get a great workout.
