update on my stricture question...

hi i posted a question ...could this be a stricture and got many replies what made me snap to attention and ph the hospital. i was admitted straight away and put on a drip i went through 2 1000ml bags before i had a wee. i was as dry as a crisp and i was very silly to delay it. the surgeon did a gasgoscopy and found a almost complete stricture and i had ballon dialtion the same day and kept in for 4 days. i have to go back on the 11th jan for a repeat balloon dialation as this apperntly has been shown to stop repeat strictures. what a differnc from how i was the onset was so gradual that i really wasnt aware how bad i was. thankyou for everye who answered my query you helped get me into hospital and on my way to healing and for that im grateful.    — Rachel F.
