Question:
Where may I rent a treadmill?

I've just been cleared by my surgeon to exercise. With winter coming, I was considering a treadmill, but I'd like to "test drive" a few if I could. Are there any fitness equipment rental joints around, or am I delusional? Thanks for any advice.    — Felissa L. (posted on November 28, 2001)

Hi, I would look for a treadmill that has a long and wide belt to allow you walk naturally. Also look for one with automatic adjustment for height. Don't be shy with trying out treadmills in the store. That is what I did I "shopped around" several stores until I found the right treadmill. Good luck!

You might want to find a store that sells them and find out wha their return policy is. Some places will let you return it within a certain amount of days. Although ask thoroughly, because some stores will make you take a store credit. Good Luck!!
