Does anyone in this group have a heart condition and have a Siastic band?

HI I AM ABOUT TO UNDERGO WLS SURGERY AND HAVE 2 SEPERATE HEART CONDITIONS ONES A ARRYTHMIA AND THE OTHER IS A DEFORMED AORTA HAS ANY OTHER PERSONS IN THIS GROUP HAD WLS SURGERY WITH THESE CODIONS OR CONDITION AND HOW HAVE THEY FOUND THERE HEALTH SINCE WLS DID THEY FIND RECOVERY HINDERED BECAUSE OF A SLOW PULSE FROM THERE MEDICATION....ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GRATEFULLY RECIEVED.....    — [Anonymous] (posted on November 24, 2001)

I have quite a past with cardiac! I had afib for fifteen years. 7 years ago I had a VBG, was in afib nearly the whole time but did fine. Got pregnant six months after surgery and I have now gained almost all my weight back. I had open-heart surgery 2 1/2 years ago and I am now scheduled for a open revision to rny. I have discussed this with my cardiothoracic surgeon and my cardiologist. I've put it all in God's hands. All my docs give me the green light. However, this is only MY experience and you must consult with your cardiologist. God Bless!
