Question:
I am rapidly gaining weight and quite concern about this matter.
Yes, what am I not doing that is causing me to gain weight so rapidly? Yes, I had he Bariatric Surgery about three to four years now and the weight is coming back too fast for me. — goldenprophetess61 (posted on September 14, 2010)

try going back to the pre surgery liquid diet for a week...to get you back
on track.

What about trying the 5 day pouch test? I would be concerned too, this is
my biggest fear as well.
Good luck!

Same here! I'm freaking out! I'm 3-4 years out too. I know what people
are going to say....write down what you eat. I am but I'm always hungry
nowadays. I wonder if anyone has any luck with the 7 day pouch test?

I have some questions for you. What are you doing for support? Are you
getting your protein and water in? Have you seen your surgeon &
nutritionist lately? What are you doing sifferently now as compared to 3-4
years ago?

I'm in the exact same boat. I went from 300-178-212. I know I'm not feeding
the carb monster as everything I eat is low/zero carb and low fat. I can
get full easy enough but I'm starving 20 minutes later. I just had a
bariatric scope last week and am meeting with my surgeon in 2 weeks to
discuss the results. They think i might have a stretched stoma.

SAME HERE!!! My surgery was January 2001 and I seem to be able to eat quite
a bit more. I had my surgery in Houston, TX and now live in Seattle, WA.
My gastrointerologist asked me if I could eat a 'normal' amount or still
the small amount. I can eat 'normal' ... huge salad or 1/2 of a large
sandwich. No longer have dumping immediately, but heart beats very fast
one hour after eating. I am scared to death that I will burst my staples
and gain weight. I've had x-rays and my staples are still in place, but I
can eat way too much.
