Question:
Is there a online diet tracker
I will be having my surgery in June and want to start some good habits and get what I need. I cant find an online journal that will also help totrack my protein and water. Any help would be greatly appreciated. — ErikaPugs (posted on April 22, 2010)

I think you can track your protein on Sparkpeople.com.

Another WLS acquaintance recently turned me on to this site and I
absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOVE it. You can track everything here from food,
water, protein, exercise and there are over 380,000 foods already listed in
the database for easy selection. It is 100% free and even has an iPhone
app -- assuming you need it? It combines all the best of sparkpeople.com
and other "freebies" but BETTER:

I've tried mydailyplate on livestrong.com and sparkpeople.com, but I really
like the health tracker on here that is associated with your profile.

I've heard that myfitnesspal was good, but befor eI tried it they put one
on this website and I REALLY like it. It breaks down what nutrients and
calories, protein, etc, etc. There are a TON of foods already in the
database, and there is also an option to add your own if it isn't in there.
Very handy!

I use TheDailyPlate.com (part of LIVESTRONG. I paid for the Gold
membership so I can access it over my Droid (cell phone).

I really like mydailyplate.com becuase there is so much nutritional
information available for foods that you eat so that you really know what
is in them.

My doctor got me signed up for www.realizemysuccess.com. Anyone can use it
whether Realize band, RNY, or sleeve. Get full access from dr. after
surgery. Works good.
