Question:
6 weeks post op left side pain

I have a stitch like pain on my left side just below my rib cage. It's only hurts when I move or try to sleep and and when I press on it. It doesn't hurt when I'm just sitting. I also have sharp pains when I eat semi-solid foods. I've already called my Dr. twice but he says it is spasms. I feel like something is wrong but then again I was told not to worry. Is it an ulcer? Six weeks out you should be still eating pureed foods. I had pains on my side too, but I think you were smart calling your Dr.
