Question:
So if I do have to go back to hunger surpressants, for awhile, which ones are safe?

The only quick, safe answer is "the one your doctor says is
OK"... without knowing anything about your WLS, no one else can say...
I suspect that the answer you'll get is "none". The WLS you had
should do its job in helping you handle your hunger. Good luck with this!

I thought about the same thing. But, my answer to myself was if I do that
then I am going right back to depending on an outside source to control my
appetite rather than ME being in control. And truthfully, none of them
are really safe. They are made of chemicals or herbal stimulants that I
have been told by my family doctor interfere with your heart rate and your
natural thyroid and in the long run actually create other health problems.
The best thing to do is discipline yourself and not go back down that road.
Sorry....I know it's not the answer you wanted to hear but it's a truthful
one. Your best tool is the surgery you had!!!! Make it work for you. God
Bless!

You might want to try the 5 day pouch test- www.5daypouchtest.com . It
will help you to break the carb addiction, and get your pouch-your weight
loss tool-working for you again. The web site contains all of the foods
allowed, menus, and recipes needed. If your pouch is still intact, it
might help. Good luck.
