Question:
Are fruits difficult for lapband post op?
I don't want to rule out bananas but for the third time I've eaten a banana and peanut butter and have felt terrible about 1 hr. later. — DarleneA (posted on April 20, 2009)

I haven't tried fruits yet, but during my pre-lap band sessions with the
nutritionist she said that fruits with skins (e.g. apples) and fibruous
fruits (e.g. oranges) would be difficult to eat post-op. She also said
that bananas should not give us trouble, but peanut butter would. Have you
tried the bananas without the peanut butter?
