Have your gall-bladder checked. If the pain is really bad you may have developed an ulcer. You might want to request an endoscopy for the doc to go down and have a look-see. Lesleigh07

Any chronic pain should always be checked by a bariatric doctor to be certain it's not health threatening...but you might try watching your portions and sugar/simple carbs...At over a year, we sometimes tend to begin to over eat more and more without realising it. There are very subtle twinges and signs I listen for in my pouch, but occassionally I am socializing and forget to pay close attention to my eating...and I will begin to get the cramps you speak of within about 15 minutes after eating and they last about two hours...It's usually accompanied by gas later and is relieved once the food is digested and the gas is passed...IF that sounds familiar...It's probably over eating...You might want to begin weighing food to one suggested serving...If a rice serving says 1/4 cup...I only take 1/4 cup...meat I weight about 4 ounces...and will eat a little less or a little more depending on how I feel. Some days I can eat 6 ounces protein or only 3...So I measure out 4 for as an average. And I KNOW what 4 ounces looks like now...I know what 1/4 c looks like too...If you are not sure...start weighing and measuring...It really helps in the long run...Even after 5 years, I will still test my eyeballs and measure stuff now and then to make sure I am not allowing myself to let my servings grow! Yeah, I know myself all too well! I cannot be trusted! LOL Try this for today...and if it doesn't help, please go see your surgeon soon. Good luck!

If you still have your gall bladder, call your doctor. There is likely no urgency in doing so, but there is a definite relationship between WLS and then having to have your gall bladder taken out.Doesn't happen to everyone, but happens often enough.
